Territory Art

Hunting

Popularly known as the hunting grounds, this is the most visited area of Snow Mountain. From here you can see the mountain itself in the distance, along with River Danson.

Breeding

Please state your mate's name and species when requesting results. Any pups/cub/etc. that are born here will be automatically registered in the name registry (provided that you list at the minimum the newborn's name and side). Any who do not wish to post stats in this board (i.e. If you simply carry the pups away to be named later), please register your young on the name registry as normally done in the past. This change will mean most people will only need to post pup stats once. Normal characters can only breed once per month.

Find-A-Mate

A small, open area where creatures seeking partners can gather.

Traydon River

This river is famously known for its fish!

Wild River

A rushing river flows throughout this land. Burnt trees lie on the other side, from an event many have chosen to forget. Once a pack land but deserted when the prey disappeared.

Shell Shock Island

An abandoned island. Food is limited here, though it is a safe place for those seeking refuge.

Misty Island

An island hidden in a thick mist. No food can be found, and this land is the most dangerous known... Who knows what's lurking in the mist?!

River Danson

River Danson runs through the land of Snow Mountain... It sometimes gets frozen or dried up!

Dragon Tower

The famous dragon tower where no creature other than dragons can enter. If you try, it most certainly be the end of you...

Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Snow Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Shama Forest

A forest bordering the main territory of Snow Mountain. It is often wet and dismal here.

Dragon Beach

Dragons gather from all over just to visit this pretty beach. They don't like being disturbed by other creatures though...

Devil's Tomb

A tomb which evil creatures have claimed as their own. It is said that all who explore this dull tomb without evil blood in their body never escape again...

Hiy'o Waterfall

Hidden behind a mass of bushes and foliage is the Hiy'o Waterfall. The grounds are full of vegetation and greenery with small pools of crystal water dotted here and there.

Ice Moon Stream

The Ice Moon Stream is almost always covered in a thick layer of ice. Pups often play on it, but those who slip too far downstream may have a nasty surprise as the layer gets thinner the further you go.

Fields of Dancing Light

This land is known as the field of dancing light. It is always touched by the rising and setting sun which radiates a sense of peace over it. However, looks can be deceiving...

Cattle Fields and Human Barn

The gentle breezes stir the green grasses that grow in this field, crudely fenced with wire and wooden posts, a few of which are beginning to rot. It is here the humans turn their livestock out to graze. Fat and healthy cattle roam over the pasture...white wooly sheep graze the grasses...tempting targets for any predator. But beware, for on the outskirts of the fields are the human barns in which the livestock spend their nights, and the dilapidated buildings house man's dangerous traps and weapons. A hungry wolf or cat may attack the domestic stock, only to find himself or herself at the business end of a rifle when a farmer emerges from the barns, roused by the barking of the herding and guard dogs.

The Cabins

Several small cabins line a well-used dirt path, smoke rising from the occasional chimney. Despite being sheltered from the worst of the mountain's storms by the deep shadowed woods that surround the quaint buildings, they are nonetheless old and weathered, giving them a lived-in feel. Peering through the windows may yield the fleeting view of a man relaxing before a fire, or a woman writing a letter upon an antique oak desk. The scent of human pervades every aspect of this area, as these cottages are the places they call home. Though some of the people may tolerate animals roaming past the windows and doors, any animal that manages to find a way to enter one of the homes had best consider the consequences. The humans will protect their families as fiercely as a mother wolf guards her cubs, and an invading intruder may found himself or herself shot and killed, or captured and relocated to the zoo.

The City

Welcome to the city, a place full with noise, smells, humans and of course danger.

The Zoo

Several enclosures are scattered over the zoo lands, patches of greenery behind bars and concrete moats. A creature brought to the zoo will have a very difficult time escaping, though it may be possible if the animal has friends to aid it. Even friends, however, cannot help a creature escape during the first week of confinement, for it is during this time that the animal is held in quarantine. This is a lonely and uncomfortable time, with only the cold steel bars and cool stone floor of the cage for company, in a drafty and poorly lit building, the monotony broken only briefly for feedings by the zoo keepers. If a creature is given a clean bill of health, it is released into an outdoor spacious naturalistic enclosure, possibly with others of its kind. There are those who find this new life relaxing.... food and shelter is provided, no longer does one need to engage in the rigors of the hunt. For many, however, life at the zoo is nearly unbearable given the absence of one important thing...freedom. (This means that if you are captured and brought to the zoo, you must remain here for at least 3 real time days once you have been put in quarantine before attempting escape. Any attempting to rescue you from quarantine before the three days have passed will in turn be captured themselves. Note that you can attempt an escape or be aided in an escape prior to actually being admitted into quarantine, or after you are admitted into the main enclosures. Also note, that while it is preferred you wait out the quarantine period even if it takes longer than three days, you may escape quarantine after 3 real time days have passed (so that nobody gets trapped there permanently if their character is forgotten about while in quarantine). However, you are greatly encouraged to wait out the quarantine period if someone is actively tending to your captured character)

Royal Den-Site

Located high on Snow Mountain, the royal den-site is for the Ruler and his family. This den-site is a large cave in the side of the mountain.

The Commoner Village/Den-site

Set lower in the mountain, this den-site houses most of the inhabitants of the Snow Mountain, including those who may just be visiting.

Snow Mountain Cliffs

These jagged rocks are hard to navigate, and you'd better watch your step! Any piece of earth could crumble at any given moment, sending you tumbling down these jagged stones and almost certainly to your death.

Kreeth Falls and Lake

This lake is said to be the birthplace of the first Alpha of Snow Mountain, Flare. The first pack roamed around this general area, so it is considered a sacred place for pregnant females to give birth to their young.

The Army Training Base

This is where army apprentices are trained. Already existing members of the army will come here to train their apprentice and teach him the basics of the army. The rest he must learn from cold blooded battle.

The Prison

This is a place no animal would ever wish to end up. The Army Privates moniter the Prisoners. Each Prisoner lives in a Terra Cell, created by the Alpha. It only falls when he wishes it to do so. They are given a rotten mouse or hare each day with a half pint of dirty water. Only cracks of sunlight can be seen from inside the Cell.
